ASIATIC LION
Atualmente, o Leão Asiático pode ser encontrado, unicamente, na parte oeste da Índia, no Parque Nacional da Floresta de Gir. Das 6 subespécies de leões existentes, esta é a única Asiática e a mais ameaçada de extinção.
Currently, the Asiatic Lion can only be found in the western part of India, in the Gir Forest National Park. Of the 6 existing lion subspecies, this is the only Asiatic and the most endangered.
